RCG Ladies Travel Gaelic Football

Hi Everyone, exciting changes on the horizon!    The board is excited to announce Irondequoit Sports Center as the home of Roc City Gaelic's indoor programs for the coming year!  This post is a doozy, please take time to read as a road map for the 2025 indoor season so you can plan with other commitments.  This is a big investment, we'd appreciate as much support (attendance) as possible! Here's a summary of what's to come: - Two non-boarded, netted fields (80x40 yds & 60x40 yds) with higher ceilings. - Earlier start times (7:30 - 9PM).  - Central location in Irondequoit - Equipment Storage  Starting September 25th, NEXT WEDNESDAY, we will move to ISC for three weeks to end our season before we enjoy a well deserved break.  We'd love a big showing so you can try out the facility, and share any ideas you have.         We will also have two THEMED events, on 11/20 and 12/18, details TBD.  Other than this, no practice or play until the new year.  Indoor picks back up in January, Wednesdays running through late May, weather and field condition dependent.  The indoor tournament will remain on boarded fields at TSE. This complex offers a more comprehensive space for all codes to practice.  Concrete walls, wider fields and high ceilings allows better skill development, and of course, shooting for points!  To add, the storage allows coaches to leave equipment on site, so there's no longer a need to drag hurleys everywhere we go.  If we fall in love with the facility, we have the opportunity to make it the home of Roc City Indoor for years to come.
