Spring Training

Now that it is staying lighter out later into the evening and the weather is warming up, we need to begin planning our return to outdoor training sessions at aardvark park. I’ve put together another survey and I need everyone to fill this out asap so we can schedule our spring sessions so that it is beneficial to everyone.

GAA 2025 Rule Changes

ATTENTION

I received notice that for this upcoming Gaelic football season, the new rule changes will be taking effect. We glossed over them 2 weeks ago at Johnnys because I was under the impression that this would not happen so suddenly but I was wrong. Please familiarize yourself with these rules immediately. Over the course of the remaining preseason, I will bring up the new rules to help everyone adjust but please let me know if you have any specific questions regarding the changes

I shared this in the group WhatsApp this morning but I want to include it here too in case anyone missed it:

Training tonight at Irondequoit Sports Center from 7:30-9.

PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY. We need to start training at exactly 7:30 to maximize our field time and before we begin I need to speak to everyone regarding preseason announcements. PLAN TO ARRIVE AT 7:15

Unlike last year we will have an entire field dedicated to football only. This is a huge opportunity for our side of the club to get off to a strong start in 2025. We need everyone to be there tonight.

So far only 10 people have responded.

Are you in or out or hurling?
