OUR STORY
Roc City Gaelic was started in 2014 by three brothers-in-law.
It is our mission to create a community that promotes and teaches Gaelic sports and Irish culture. Hurling and Gaelic Football are a combination of so many sports familiar here in the US, but they are very unique sports. The Irish spirit of fierce competition mixed with community and camaraderie is what we endeavored to build in our club.
People come to try Gaelic sports, fall in love with it, and stay for the community that surrounds it.
We are an official non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of Irish Culture through traditional sports. Our goal is to expand our impact with youth development programs, outreach programs, and collaborations with other Irish cultural organizations.

MORE THAN JUST A TRAVEL LEAGUE
We're not just a fair weather club! We play from January through as late as October. Our Winter Sessions are played indoors and are open to all but also provide our travel teams valuable training time before the season. We play Wednesday nights at Irondequoit Sport Center at 7:30pm!
We offer free youth clinics throughout the year and are working towards establishing a year-round youth GAA program! This is one of the next steps in our club's evolution and growth. We'd love for you and your kids to join us out on the pitch!
During the Fall we play a co-ed pub league for Hurling, along with time for Gaelic Football. This is a great time for our members to grow not just as players, but strengthen the close ties that the club builds during the year.
Throughout the year we offer Family Fun Days with food and activities for the whole family. The goal of Roc City Gaelic isn't just to be a sports club. We're interested in fostering a community that spreads all aspects of Irish culture and values.
